On Saturday, June 21st, the Talbot Agriculture & Education Center in Easton, Maryland, came alive with music, movement, and Maryland cannabis pride.
Hosted by Sunburst Pharm, ShoreFest 2025 was more than an event—it was a vibrant, immersive celebration of cannabis culture in its most authentic form.

Set on a working agricultural fairground, surrounded by green pastures and blue skies, the event captured everything cannabis festivals should be: inclusive, educational, entertaining, and deeply rooted in community.

The Scene: Country Charm Meets Cannabis Culture
By 4 PM, guests began pouring into the venue, greeted by open skies, warm smiles, and the unmistakable pulse of House of Jane DJs spinning chill beats under the main pavilion.

Set against a sprawling rural backdrop, the venue offered a mix of rustic farm structures, open grassy fields, and shaded tents—perfect for navigating a hot, sunny afternoon.
The weather was a scorcher, but the crowd? Even hotter. Tank tops, wide-brimmed hats, sunglasses, and festival fans were out in full force.
Despite the heat, the crowd remained high in spirits, hydrated and buzzing with good energy. The smell of food trucks mixed with the faint haze of terpenes as attendees explored the grounds.
It was the kind of day where stoners mixed with music lovers, artists, and everyday enthusiasts, creating a space where joy was contagious and connection came easy.
Entertainment Lineup: Beats, Bands & Big Top Energy
ShoreFest 2025 delivered four hours of nonstop entertainment, carefully choreographed to build from mellow grooves into full-on party mode.

4:00–5:00 PM: Welcome Vibes
As guests flowed into the Talbot Ag Center, the House of Jane DJ collective set the tone with cannabis-friendly tracks and ambient grooves. Their soundscape gave the venue a steady pulse, pulling people toward the pavilion while encouraging laid-back exploration.

Nearby, the CULTA Tarot Reading RV added a mystical twist, giving guests spiritual insight before hitting the food trucks or sponsor booths.
4:30–5:30 PM: Live Music & Circus Mayhem Begins
The main stage came to life with performances by:
Kanna Katz: Indie-soul vocals and dreamy stage presence opened the day with warmth and lyrical honesty.
Andrew Bell Band: Laid-back funk, jam band riffs, and a smooth groove guided the crowd deeper into the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the pavilion lit up with circus acts:
A sword swallower stunned onlookers with jaw-dropping feats
A mesmerizing contortionist twisted into impossible shapes
Bubbles, balloon twisting, and juggling kept kids and adults alike in awe
The atmosphere felt like a cannabis-fueled Cirque du Soleil—fun, interactive, and Instagram-worthy at every turn.

5:30–6:15 PM: Energy Rises
As the Andrew Bell Band continued their set, vendors came alive. Booths from WYLD, Nature’s Heritage, SunMed, and others served up samples, swag, and education, with patients and canna-curious attendees asking smart questions about products, terpenes, and effects.
This wasn’t just a party—it was a chance to learn, connect, and explore the cannabis space more deeply.

6:30–8:00 PM: Golden Hour Magic with the Tom Starr Band
When the Tom Starr Band took the stage at 6:30, the timing was perfect. The golden hour sunlight streamed through barn rafters and tents, casting long shadows and bathing the crowd in a warm glow. The band brought the vibe all the way up with a mix of:
Doobie Brothers-inspired harmonies
Yacht rock classics
A surprise saxophonist, who stole the show with silky solos that soared into the country air

People danced barefoot in the grass. Others lounged in the shade, nodding to the beat. For many, it was the emotional high point of the evening.

Final Thoughts: A Blueprint for What’s Possible
ShoreFest 2025 wasn’t just a good time—it was a blueprint for how cannabis events should be done. From the moment guests arrived at the farm-style venue to the final sax solo ringing out across the fields, ShoreFest managed to do what few events truly achieve: bring together business, culture, community, and fun without compromising any of them.

It struck the perfect balance between education and entertainment. Guests could learn about terpene profiles one minute, and then be laughing at a contortionist’s circus act the next.
It felt intentional, organic, and human. No one was “sold to”—they were invited in. That distinction matters. It’s what sets ShoreFest apart.
The rural setting wasn’t just scenic—it was symbolic. It reminded everyone that cannabis isn’t just a product in a jar—it’s a plant, a craft, a history.
The decision to host this festival on open farmland, surrounded by trees and sky, was a grounding element. It brought a sense of peace and place that a city venue never could.
Sunburst Pharm deserves credit not just for organizing the event, but for cultivating the kind of reputation that can rally this kind of support.
When your event draws top-tier sponsors, local artists, circus performers, wellness advocates, and everyday patients—all under one sky—you know you’re doing something right.

More than anything, ShoreFest 2025 was proof that the cannabis community is maturing without losing its heart. The stoner jokes are still here, the joints are still being passed, but there’s a new layer of pride and professionalism rising in Maryland's cannabis scene. One that includes everyone—from new consumers and medical patients to growers, educators, and legacy entrepreneurs.

It showed that cannabis events don’t have to be sterile, awkward, or overrun by corporate booths. They can be warm, weird, creative, and celebratory.
They can include live saxophones, ribbon dancers, food trucks, glass artists, DJs, raffle winners, budtenders, cultivators, and grandmothers—all in the same crowd.

In short, ShoreFest was the kind of gathering that reminds us why we fell in love with this plant—and this community—in the first place. We’ll see you next year. Bigger tent. Louder sax. Higher vibes. Same love. 🎪🌿❤️
